This is a beautiful wig. However, the color was a disappointment. My hair is pure white and while I knew it would not be a perfect match I was hoping there would be more similarities. The color description said lightest gray evenly blended with pure white. I feel that there is much more gray than pure white. Also, The wig looked more like a medium gray color with very little pure white standing out. If it weren’t for that I would give it a 5 star rating.

Turns out that the color is just a warm blond, which is perfect! I do love the platinum highlights around the face! The cap fits my head very well, so no problems there. It's amazing how much it looks like real hair, so much so that in my mind IT IS real hair! Wearing it is like taking a trip down memory lane. I used to have the same color, texture, and cut 35 years ago. I do feel that I look significantly younger wearing this wig. I have very sensitive skin, but this fiber does not irritate my neck. It barely touches my shoulders and does not irritate that skin either. I don't really know how to style hair, so it's lucky that this wig looked great right out of the box. I had several problems with this wig. At first, I didn't understand what the problem was and then I figured out that the major issue was that it was too big for my head. Also, there's so much hair that it made it look unnatural on me. Another major problem is that the root color on the blonde (I tried light and medium) is much, much, much too dark unless you are a natural dark brunette and you would actually let your roots grow out that long. I will say that other than that, the color shading of the blondes was very nice. I never wore this outside the house because I thought the hair strands looked too much like nylon inside the house and thought they'd really look bad in the sun. There is no curl to this wig as shown in the online photos. It is stick straight so prepare for that. I got red/gold which is more gold than red but is pretty. The roots are very dark so looks like someone with very dark brown hair dyed their hair red/gold and now need to touch it up. The amount of hair is thinner which I like. The bangs are very long and will need trimming unless you want bangs hanging in your face. May or may not keep, on the fence. Be prepared for MANY compliments when you wear Simmer. I ordered the RL19/23 Biscuit shade and am in love with it. The way the blonde colors are blended together makes this wig so dynamic. The lace front is truly the "best of the best" on the market. There are icy blonde highlights "growing" out of the lace front and along the temples of this wig. It looks so natural, like you just spent hundreds at a salon on highlights. Out of the many wigs I've ordered, this is my first (but definitely not last) Raquel Welch wig. The fibers and the cap are the softest I've put on my head. My scalp is extremely sensitive due to a prior brain surgery, so the comfort of this wig is what will drive me to purchase a few more Raquel Welch wigs. I've worn Jon Renau, Noriko, and Rene of Paris and while I do like the wigs from those brands, the RW line is a step above. As a note of encouragement to you ladies, I'm almost 50. I will continue to wear bright, fun, long wigs no matter how old I get! I refuse to listen to the "too old for long hair" nonsense. This is a beautiful wig. However, the color was a disappointment. My hair is pure white and while I knew it would not be a perfect match I was hoping there would be more similarities. The color description said lightest gray evenly blended with pure white. I feel that there is much more gray than pure white. Also, The wig looked more like a medium gray color with very little pure white standing out. If it weren’t for that I would give it a 5 star rating.

I was waiting for my wig to arrive anxiously. I was worried about the color being too red and also unsure about the fit of the cap on my 23inch head. Turns out that the color is just a warm blond, which is perfect! I do love the platinum highlights around the face! The cap fits my head very well, so no problems there. It's amazing how much it looks like real hair, so much so that in my mind IT IS real hair! Wearing it is like taking a trip down memory lane. I used to have the same color, texture, and cut 35 years ago. I do feel that I look significantly younger wearing this wig. I have very sensitive skin, but this fiber does not irritate my neck. It barely touches my shoulders and does not irritate that skin either. I don't really know how to style hair, so it's lucky that this wig looked great right out of the box. I think it has that European chic. I love the softness of the cut around the face and of the waves. I don't think I'll ever want to wear another wig ever again!
