Nora is a delightful fluff and go style with waves and almost curls. I got it in color 38, which is light ash brown with grey. It is supposed to be light ash brown with 25 percent grey (it seems a bit more than that;) It would be nice if Paula Young had at least one style featured in this color. The ash brown is very close to my natural color (a bit lighter) but Nora has more grey than I do personally. Nora arrived smelling absolutely wretched; I almost gagged when I opened the box. I had to wash the wig immediately. I used Paula Young shampoo. I thought I detected the (fumigant?) odor even after the wash, but when Nora dried, she no longer smelled. When I first put her on after she'd dried she was not pretty and the curls were mashed against the cap. I shook her vigorously and then took a wide tooth comb and really brought the fibers up off the cap. I wasn't rough, but I was deliberate in going over the entire wig to revive the fibers. I was able to achieve a style very similar to the catalog photo. In my photos, Nora has a more shag-like appearance, but once on she can be fluffed to the rounded silhouette of the catalog photo. Nora fits my 22.25 inch head comfortably and could be adjusted to go even a bit larger, or smaller. I find the fibers dry to the touch and just a bit coarser than my own very fine hair (although Nora's fiber does not look coarse.) Nora is comfortable to wear and an adorable style that goes with dressy as well as casual outfits. If you are prepared to spend a few moments waking Nora up after you first get her home, I think you will be pleasantly surprised at her fluff and go versatility. When this DANCE wig and COLOR ME EXQUISITE wigs arrived, upon removing them from the box they were cute, and the colors were pretty and the best thing they had going for them, However, they didn't look much like the ones the models in the pictures wore. And there is too much perma tease or "fluff" to them. They had really no style to them at all. Especially in the front, just couldn't do much with them. And didn't want to try since being careful with them is a must when trying them on. Very disappointed with these wigs. In my humble opinion they were not great and not keepers. So I am returning them and probably won't buy anymore wigs again. Sorry PY but your wigs need to be lighter weight, lay nicer, (some of us like a bit flatter style) far less perma tease or fluff, easier to wear right out of the box…Thanks anyway…Juanita

I am completely disappointed with my purchase. I ordered two of this wig because I really like the look of the style in the picture. The wigs I received will not comb into the style shown. The top is spiked and will only stand straight up and the bangs stick straight out and will not lay nicely against the forehead. I tried to tame it down with wig spray and hair gel but it won't lay down. The top hair stands straight up and the bangs stick straight out. The wig will not comb into a nice smooth pixie like the picture shows. I would not recommend a person buy this wig unless you want spiked hair that stands straight up at the top of your head and bangs that stick straight out at your forehead. The style does not resemble the picture at all !Eve

The Farah Fawcett like "flicks" in the front, which drew me to the wig in the first place, were just two big fat curls that fell apart the second I pulled it out of the netting albeit gently. This wig is so cheaply made I can't believe it. First, I have a small head and the wig just does not fit. The ear tabs don't stay even if you use bobby pins, they will be up to the middle of your head. Second, the hair is thinner than my hair in the back. If the wind blew it around people would see the elastic the hair (what little there is) is attached to. Third, there was not a receipt anywhere in or on the box so to return it I have to log onto my computer and print one, I have not looked yet but I assume I can still do that. What about people that do not have computers or printers, you can try to call customer service but I was on hold for almost 2 hours and still just music!! Unless you want to place an order forget talking to QVC. I have read other reviews about not reaching anyone, come on QVC you are better than this. Anyway we should not have to pay to ship this piece of junk back. Shame on the hosts too!over60

This was probably a cute wig but the sizing tags were unusable so I could not fit the wig to my head. I took it to my hair dresser who advised me that in addition to the sizing problems, the wig I received had been improperly styled as the right side of the rear behind my right ear was nearly cut off as was the left front in front of my left ear. It had been altered or this is a manufacturing defect. Since she could not re place the "hair" that had been removed before it was sent to me, she could not style it or fix the issues. She also told me it was shedding was so badly that she would recommend NEVER washing it and treating it as a costume wig (expect one or two wearings) rather than a real wig that one could wash and wear multiple times. I spent a lot of time trying to reach someone in customer service which apparently QVC no longer offers and will be sending this wig back as DEFECTIVE and MIS-DESCRIBED. QVC did not advise me it was sending a used or returned wig. QVC quality control did not catch an obviously defective wig before sending it to ano9ther customer. I purchased Glazed Hazelnut, but found the color is more blended than my Raquel Welch's Boost wig that's in the same color. I feel Raquel Welch's wigs have more vibrant colors, but you pay for that. However, I was pleased that the hair feels very real. It's not too shiny so no powdering etc. is needed at all. The shipping was quick, wig came in a nice box wrapped in netting and filled with tissue paper. I am happy that this wig is very light and comfortable on my average-large head. I am new to wig-wearing. My bio hair is about 75% gray, and I do have a full head of hair that I keep cut in a very short style. I decided to start wearing wigs because I wanted more variety in hair styles as well as colors. Winner was a good choice for me lengthwise to start my wig-wearing-journey. However, I wish I had been much bolder in my initial color and length range. Since then I've warmed up to taking more risks. Winner (average) is a bit large for my head. Delivery was fabulous, 7 days to Indonesia and I love the way customs is included. This is my third Winner wig, I find the style comfortable and versatile. My other two wigs are brown but I wanted to try some highlights as I had them when I was younger. I think the routed wigs look more natural so I chose Shaded Cappuccino SS12/22. I hunted all over the web for a review or You Tube video for Winner in that colour but could only find longer styles. In the end I ordered it anyway. When it arrived I hated it, I thought the roots made me look like a skunk, and if I lived in the US I would have sent it back. I am so happy with this wig I think it's absolutely worth every penny! It's comfortable, soft, and it feels and looks very natural. When I started my chemo I bought a very expensive, human hair, skin top wig and I was devastated. The hair was soft but the wig was uncomfortable, heavy, I felt I couldn't move and overall it was obvious I was wearing a wig ,a sad wig which wouldn't let me forget for one second that I was sick. Wen I got my Tony of Beverly I could not believe it! It fits perfectly, it looks so much more natural, it is light, it moves, I forget I have it on, I want to sleep with it! And I tried other synthetic wigs in very good wig stores in New York but no other feels and looks so natural and comfortable. I bought this wig because as I got older I found my frizzy, unruly hair more and more difficult to manage. With arthritis straightening my hair was a big job. How fantastic it is to be able to put this gorgeous wig on. It is practically completely hand tied, so looks so natural-it is the hair I would have if I could straighten my hair everyday. The colour is also very natural, I just wish it was done in human hair and without bangs – but when was life ever perfect! This is about as good as it gets with a synthetic wig (OK it is a bit shiny) but this degree of hand tied cap doesn't come along often enough on synthetics. I wish other wig makers would take notice and give us a few more because at the moment I don't find myself spoilt for choice, as I am truly fed up of cheap looking weft wigs.
