I loved the style and the color. However, the wig is too big. I am very petite and my head is smaller than average. I was so disappointed I cannot wear my new look. Do you have wigs for small heads? Do you have a vendor you can recommend?Yolanda W.

My purchase of this wig was supposed to be merely a stopgap. During my time at home my hair looked more and more like Don L. King's. There was no way that I would chance cutting my own hair and decided to venture into wig-world. The wig was inexpensive, so I thought the post-covid, I'd use it for Halloween. Lo and behold, the wig is gorgeous! It is the exact shade of gray as my grown out roots. It falls right into the sleek and sophisticated style I like as I put it on. When I return to the workplace, I will definitely be sporting this wig. To that end, I ordered and received three more. I wanted to be sure that I have back-ups when one is being washed or begins to look worn. Despite the strong reviews, I nearly passed on this wig when a YouTube reviewer pointed out that it is not big-head-friendly. Please understand, I have a certifiably BIG head. Sure enough, at first it rode up my forehead making it look more like a toupee than a pixie cut. Decided to try snipping the inside elastic (without ever cutting all the way through) in several places around the circumference. That step combined with a wig grip did the trick. It is comfortable and fits beautifully. My only tiny quibble is that it a bit shinier than I'd like even after applying baby powder and brushing it through. But that is so minor that it doesn't really disturb me. Given the lock-down encompassing most of the country, I thought that it would take some time for my order to arrive. I was shocked by the quick delivery of the first wig and my subsequent re-order. Wonderful customer service! Consider me a fan.Deborah B.

I just received Mary today. I really must say that this wig is my all time favorite wig! I have been wearing wigs for many, many years and have had some really nice ones. However, this one is by far my favorite. I love gray hair, but I only have a tiny bit. I think I really look great in gray! I love her!!!! I have to buy more!Sarah

It was the worst wig I've ever seen. The bangs were blunt cut and too short. You could see stitching at the very top and the stitches were white. I couldn't return it because I took all tags off and cut the label out when I received it. I have had four of this very same model and they were perfect so I "ASSUMED" this one would be too. Never again. I no longer trust Especially Yours. You have lost a very, frequent, faithful customer.janet

I find myself not wanting to take off the wig I'm wearing for the day. But I get so excited for the days ahead to wear the next wig. I can't tell you how much it means for this disabled woman to have Especially Yours in my life. I have ordered this wig 3,4 times and I always get the wrong color. then upon returning the wig they charge 10.00 to take the wrong order saying it's because I ordered online. Will not order from them again.Jacqueline

The Carrie is the only wig I should ever own. I have had metastatic breast almost 5 years. I have had chemo 2 different times in 5 years and lost my hair twice. I was always afraid to spend the money on a human hair wig since I thought I might not make it. I sell real estate to support myself and I needed to look nice and polished. I wore the same synthetic wig and bought a new one every 2 months because it just did not hold up. Two months ago I was diagnosed with a brain tumor due to the metastatic breast cancer and had to shave the back of my hair due to surgery and radiation. I finally had several coupons and before Christmas bought a human hair Carrie wig. It has been beyond beautiful! I feel like a whole person when I wear this week. It has increased my self confidence and brought some sunshine back in my life. I am 55 and the Carrie wig is so pretty I actually get treated so much better by every one I have had contact with. The wig looked pretty great straight out of the box. I got a lot of compliments, which was great cause this was my first wig and I was really nervous about it looking too wiggy. I blend the lace front with my natural hair line and it looks pretty realistic. However, the wig came in way lighter than I was expecting and I plan on dying it darker. I order it in 12FS8, expecting it to be a dark blonde/ light brown and it was straight up yellow-blonde. The highlights, lowlights, and rooting are really nice and give it more of a realist look, but I still needed to dye it darker to be able to blend my hair line with the lace front. The first weekend I wore it I got caught in a rain storm and the wig frizzed super bad. I tried using some product to smooth it out (trying to avoid heat styling as not to damage the hair) but it's still pretty frizzy. I'm sure a flat iron can fix it, so I don't think its a huge deal. All in all, I'll probably buy again if I don't find something better.Chris

I recently received “Carrie” in Palm Sprngs Blonde. The wig is beautiful, versatile and light. Mine dried naturally with nice waves. It’s the most comfortable wig I’ve worn. This is my first human hair wig; I’ve been wearing synthetics for 3 years. Based upon my happy experience, I’m planning to invest in a longer, more expensive human hair wig next. One note: human hair wig colors will tend to be warmer than their synthetic counterparts and what shows for the swatch online. This human hair wig is a little darker and warmer than my synthetic wigs in Palm Springs Blonde, but Jon Renau makes a shampoo called In Tone Violet that will cool down the warm tones. I still highly recommend this wig!Yvonne

I love this wig! It’s very beginner friendly. The hair is light weight so it could be a perfect summer wig. Only reason why I didn’t give it a full 5 stars is because it does tangle a little more than I like but I guess that’s to be expected.Tiffany D.

I fell in love with the wig the first time I saw it. I ordered it and when I got it and unwrapped it, it looked just like the picture. But to my dismay, I could not wear it. I did not understand what the "Lace Front" meant. I had purchased two other wigs in 2011 after having Ru-N-Y surgery because my hair was getting thin, at that time I purchased the full cap wigs. Needless to say I had to return the wig and hopefully reordered a couple of full cap wigs. But, to those out there who has more hair on top and wants this wig, it is beautiful.Ramona

This wig is truly beautiful. I'd like for it to have been a lighter blonde with less brown but the style makes up for that. I haven't even worn it yet but keep trying it on, waiting for a special place to debut her. I do think it is a little overpriced since most of Paula Young's wigs are far less expensive. The quality is excellent though. I can't wait to wear her. A glamorous wig that will look good with jeans, too.Linda

This is a lovely wig. I love that it's thinner and hand tied. I'm not a fan of the ear to ear lace. It tends to stick up around the ear tabs and you can see it. I've tried glue but it just cakes up on the lace and doesn't work anyway. I wish I had gotten the regular julianne with velvet ear tabs. I am so glad I tried the light version in the julianne before paying a ridiculous amount of money for the carrie light and realizing the lace ear tabs are terrible. If you have hair thinning or loss anywhere in the front, this will not work for you as you'll be pulling on those vulnerable hairs if you have any, yet it won't be enough to hold the piece in place safely, nor can you use adhesive on thinning hairs. Obviously the 3 front clips won't be of use if you have no hair in front; aybe you could remove all the clips and use adhesive instead if you have no hair. For me, with thinning hair, this was unworkable. I was excited about this item, but was left disappointed. Trying to be fair to the store, I kept the items (I bought two) rather than ask for another return. I shouldn't have kept them.Gerri

I have bought several regular January's in the past, and have always thought they had too much permatease, but would repurchase it because it is closest to the style and color I am looking for. This was my first January Hand Tied. I am pleased to say that it is exactly what I was hoping for. The best part is that there is NO permatease, which had always made it too hot to wear in the summer, and now I don't have to worry about wefts showing since there are none. The lace front on mine is fantastic in the color 14/25 – the highlighting and knotting is the best it's ever been. It is much less tiger-striped looking than it had been about 5 years ago. The hand tied January also has less density than regular January, so I only thinned it slightly in spots compared to my major thinning of regular January. Both versions of January tend to be less shiny than the straight versions of synthetics, which is a plus for me. The Jon Renau regular synthetic fibers last longer than the other brands I have tried as well.Brahm

This wig looks amazing out of the box! The curls are perfect, the color options are great, and it looks very natural. Most people don't even realize I'm wearing a wig unless they know to look for it. For weeks, it will look fantastic (I get more compliments than I did when I had bio hair). However, the hair is extremely long and fine so it does tend to become frizzy quickly. You can maintain the hair with careful washing, storage and a handheld streamer to help uncurl the frizz. Time will take it's toll though. This is a tough wig to wear as an everyday wig unless you want to replace it fairly often or you have a lot of skill with keeping a wig looking it's best.Kayla C.

When I first received the wig I was worried that it would be too thin. But, when I am wearing it, I find that the lower density looks extremely natural and more realistic than the overly thick human hair wigs I have had in the past. The hair is very smooth and you can run your fingers right through it. I had the Kim by Jon Reneau which has extremely sick denier. I have this bravo wig in the color R 11 S. It looks extremely realistic as though my hair had been professionally highlighted. I also find the lace front to be the best I have ever worn. The netting is so fine that I truly can barely see it. This is the first wig I have on where I do not feel the need to cut the lace. Although some may not like the thin density for the shorter length, I find it perfect for every day wear. I was looking for a wig that was short enough to be comfortably worn every day easy to tuck behind the ears, yet long enough to be pulled back out of my face. Also I would like to add that this week does not shed at all so I am expecting it to last quite a while.I gave this four stars only because I do wish there was slightly more hair in the lower back region of the cap.Patricia D.

I‘m a huge Raquel Welch wigs fan, it’s my favorite brand. And I had my eyes on this style for a while and think the stock photo looks fabulous. But it’s my first and last style in regular synthetic. I love the True2Life HD fibers by Raquel Welch, they look and feel like human hair. But these are just extremely shiny and it has a lot of hair! The color Glazed Sand is really nice and the lace front on this style is impeccable, and as this was my first unrooted color, it’s even better and more undetectable than the rooted colors. But everyone tells me that this style looks like an old woman and I‘m just too young to look that old… 😅 Of course Wigstudio1 is not to blame, their service was first class, as always!Sarah C.

The most natural looking wig I have ever purchased. A friend who knows I wear wigs, asked if she was seeing my bio hair. I was wearing hand tied Center Stage with the lovely lace front when she sat across from me at a restaurant that day. Nothing more needs to be written to explain the 5 stars. Center Stage has the most natural looking 'part' and believable density. I currently have this in 2 different but similar colors. I am shocked to see negative reviews. All it takes is a little patience with water, spray and/or gel to fool even a best friend. I don't want to forget to rate the comfort level-also deserves 5 stars.NBS

This is the beginning of my journey so my issues may be just that I am starting this journey kicking and screaming. I know all the YouTube reviewers say this is wonderful and fun but it isn't what I want to do – I wish my bio hair looked like this wig. It is lovely – soft and flattering for probably anyone. However, I may still return, I have tried in on for a bit several days in a row, still not sure. These may be things I just have to live with now that I have to do this to have normal 'hair'. 1.) Lace front – if I do keep this one, I will NEVER buy a lace front again. Unfortunately, it is very hard to find a nice, well made hairpiece without it because everyone else seems to love lace front – NOT ME. I don't like that you cannot pull your bio hair out from under (I know that it is great if you have no hair, but I have plenty around my face and would like to incorporate – Sincerely Yours by RW was perfect but too short). And though it DOES look very nice (I really didn't think it would look so realistic, it truly looks like a real hairline up close), it is HORRIBLY itchy. Like stiff, itchy netting and I can't wait to take it off. Maybe if I try gluing it won't itch so much? 2. I TOO much hair, as with most all of the hair pieces. While I can make this one work because it thankfully isn't LOADED up with that fake feeling/looking permatease (I know some people love it, I do NOT on me), it is still GOBS of hair. I push my hair behind my ears and I would have to have massive ears to fit the gobs falling in front of my face behind my ear; it is like trying to tuck a large rope behind my ear. Not sure why manufacturers think someone who has had hair loss or very thin hair all of the sudden will feel comfortable with a wooly mammoth strapped tightly to their raw noggin. Again, this one could be okay because I could take thinning shears to it and make it work if I keep this wig. 3. Speaking of the front bit… as other reviewers remarked, OMG does it want to go in your face. I don't want to use any product or heat on it yet because I am not sure I am keeping it so VERY difficult to tell if it will work because that is absolutely a problem. Would probably have to thin and cut that into layers – it is very pretty but no one goes around with a big chunk of hair hanging down like that all day. All of the hair on the cap is geared to go absolutely FORWARD, not sure why. It is something that would have to be worked out with heat, water and product. 4. Cap construction – Not super comfortable. Again, this is all new to me so maybe I am doing something wrong. I am using a wig grip so not sure if that adds to my discomfort. I will say that the seams around the mono part are thick and itchy. I would rather a whole mono top or a basic cap, rather than that seamed bit. Too much going on in the cap. So – if you are a regular wig wearer, this style will probably work for you; I am just not use to all these itches and things going on my head. Sort of like a pretty but uncomfortable underwire bra – you can deal but can't wait to get it off at the end of the day – that is how it feels for me. If this had the cap of the Sincerely Yours, I would have found my piece. Again, not sure if I am returning or not, but it is so expensive for me, for them not to be spot on. I need something that looks like ME and I can wear every day and it looks like normal, non-poufy, non-shiny hair and isn't going to rub my ear or itch my head, etc. I am probably hoping for too much. 🙁LJT

Cap is so comfortable. I had to cut on the bangs a little because they went directly into my eyes. However! The color more than made up for it. The eggplant shade is absolutely beautiful and perfect for the fall season! If your bio hair is or was brown and you are looking for brown yet with a twist of pow…. Choose this color! I have yet to be disappointed with the Raquel Welch brand wigs. Thank you Wigstudio1 for always getting my orders to me in such a timely manner. Makes me so happy to know an order is heading my way. When I saw a picture of this wig, I thought to myself "finally!" This is the style I have been looking for for a while, short, straight, not too much hair, an Ignite but with a longer back. Unfortunately, this wig has a very small cap. It cannot possibly be average size. Average size fits usually lose on my head and this wig I could barely squeeze on. Secondly, it has no lace front. I am too used by now to wearing a lace front monofilament to feel comfortable wearing a wig without. I guess this is what you get for the price. The color and the fibers were great, but I had to return mainly because the cap was far too small.Mimi

The biggest problem I found with this wig was the fit. Average was too big, but petite felt too small. I have a Goldilocks size head and I found the ear tabs on the petite were way too high on my temples, but the front and back fit ok. I bought it on sale and thought I would take a risk even if it wasn’t perfect (and it’s not). The hair itself is good quality and appears to be well made and the style is very cute. I only wish there was a better way to buy wigs other than to pay upfront for an online item, only to find out it’s not quite right. It seems if you can try on hairstyles virtually, there should be a way to try on wigs virtually. If you could upload a photo or enter the dimensions of your head and then try on virtually, you can get an idea of where the ear tabs will fall, for example or how long the bangs will be. It would save a lot of time and money on returns. Eventually, someone will invent it, but until then, buying wigs online is a crapshoot. I prefer to buy locally, however most wig shops don’t carry a very large variety and if you buy the same wig through a wig shop, it will cost double.Vee B.

-1 star for how easily it tangles and sheds; I recommend wearing the hair down over updos because of it -1 star for how chunky highlights are at the part which are unconcealable +1 star for cap and hairline In my pics, I have not plucked the hairline, but I have straightened the wig and rearranged the part. The cap on this wig is definitely better quality than my cheaper amazon wigs (I like that it has velcro straps), but the hair itself both tangles and comes out more easily than my cheapy $30-50 wigs, which is unfortunate. I'd recommend not even bothering to try to do a half updo with this wig, which I'm personally disappointed by but that's okay, it looks good down. The lace came pre-cut, not sure if it was supposed to, but it fits perfectly and blends right into my pale skin, which is great. Hairline is great, pretty natural looking. I ordered the color FS4/33/30A Midnight Cocoa – the highlights are so chunky right up into the part (see pics). Doesn't matter which way you part it, you have giant stripes in your hair with this color (not too noticeable from straight on or from the side but I disapprove still haha). So I would NOT recommend the colors with highlights like this one, just get a solid color. So overall, I wish I got a different color, but that's on me. It's otherwise a pretty good wig and I would recommend it.Aubrey H.

The wig was already thinning in the front when I got it and I can't hide this with bio hair because the lace is too long (can't cut the lace because it is the only thing gripping the front, there are no clips). I don't recommend this piece for people with small/low foreheads, maybe if you are completely bald with no bio hair it might work for you but not if you have pale skin because the knots are very dark and the lace is tan. I tried to straighten the hair on low heat and it made a melting smell, I question if all the hair is real. The cap is also extremely itchy and the lace is not soft (because the lace grips) so it is uncomfortable when it sits on my forehead. I would need to sew in clips and then seal off the lace so it doesn't unravel when trimmed, but for $2000 I would expect this to be of better quality. I own many wigs and hair toppers, I am always disappointed in Jon Renau but I took a risk because I liked the color. The Jon Renau brand is not carried much anymore because their pieces are just not worth the price. I am just going to have to stick with Uniwigs because at least I know what to expect and they are keeping up with the trends for comfort and affordability.LS

The hair piece is nicely made and the color was spot-on. I really, really wanted to like this wig. My overall problem was the style… and was in a few of the reviews I had read prior. The front part was over bearing and so much so that it wouldn't stay out of my face…. almost like there was too much hair. While I didn't try to style the piece or trim to see if that would make a difference (didn't want to do anything in case I returned, which I did), so it's possible I could have made it work. But I just couldn't get past the front portion of the wig and all the volume; I couldn't figure out what to do with it! I am not new to hair pieces, wigs and extension pony-tails so I am aware that some effort is-or-might be necessary, etc., but it simply just looked fake on me. I only deducted 1 Star because it might have been fixable but $300.++ I didn't want to take that chance so I returned. But overall, the wig is pretty and the cap is comfy. Good luck!Susie

I got Go for it in shadow shade licorice. The fit is great, the look perfect. Like all RW wigs, it needs thinning on the top. That said, the length is great, side coverage excellent, and a great shade of gray!! I would recommend this hair to anyone who doesn't mind thinning it or having their stylist do it. I would love to see this in 100% hand tied with an extended lace front! I will be getting another, probably in a different shade!Darylann H.

I tried this wig on in a store today….I love pixies and summer is getting hot so I wanted something new, but not necessarily "trendy" (I am 55 years old) This wig is perfect! It has long layers that fluff up perfectly and with a little cream will stay in place (SO important in summer!) The nape is short enough, but not too short, it stayed in place well. It only has a lace front (I am a spoiled lace front, mono top, 100% hand tied wig type of woman) but it is cut so well that you can easily hide the permatease with minimal work and product. THIS is a keeper!Julie
