While I ordered both these wigs thinking they were short and medium density hair, I was disappointed on both counts! Risk was a total failure and Tab was like a rooster costume with a mound of hair on top that looked ridiculous! I looked at the men's wigs trying to get a really short hair wig but they don't come in blond hair. So far, it's been a total disappointment, not to speak of the nearly $60 they charged me for returning a wig (Tab) what was in my hands and head less than 15 minutes! No wonder you don't mind the returns, you are making a business out of it! These wigs (if they are truly wigs) on the models have no resemblance to what arrives in the mail!Graciela C.
After having tried several other wigs, I chose the Tab in the Salt/Pepper Rooted style. I loved the fact that it didn't have too much hair which makes it look more natural on me. I love the color on me. I love the style and the flexibility I have with the Lace Front . What I don't love is that it's just a smidgen too small, I feel. Even though my head measures for a Petite, I guess I prefer an Average size fit as one of my other wigs, in a Raquel Welch style is much more comfortable for me to wear. I also find this Lace Front to be a bit scratchy. This would be the perfect wig and style for me IF the fit were better and the Lace Front a little softer. It has been over 15 years since I had a human hair wig. I tried one previously and it was I’ll fitting and looked very unnatural. This wig, however, fits comfortably (it’s honestly still slightly larger than what I’d love and I just mention that in case anyone is nervous hearing that it is more on the petite side. I wish it were more petite!). I do, however, love the amount of hair in Cascade. It’s thickness looks very natural. I’m currently in the process of having a Freedom Wig created and an thrilled to have this beautiful hair while I wait for it!Ariel H.
The fibers tangle too easily. I can't do anything without this wig tangling and matting in a weird way. It's embarrassing to me and now I have to replace it after only 2 months of wear. I've tried conditioners in hopes of coating the fibers and reducing friction, but it doesn't last even a whole day. I have been impressed with the construction of the cap. Considering I have to brush the wig out many times throughout the day, I'm surprised that the crown hasn't thinned badly. Many wigs come already too thin in the crown, but not this one. The Chocolate Mix color is nice. Other wig brands use fibers (heat friendly and otherwise) that can be smoothed every day or two with a straightener on low heat. I'm a big fan of Elite, which will always be my favorite EW style. The cut on this one is great and similiar to elite but with more face framing layers in the front which very modern. The hair so silky and such a natural looking density. I'm having a hard time though with the colors. Not sure if they changed the colors but cannot find hot chocolate mix my go to for elite and few other older styles, in the newer styles. Also, the same color in different collections look somewhat different. I purchased this in dark chocolate mix and starting wearing it recently and don't see too much highlights, granted i haven't washed it yet, for some reason that makes a difference sometimes in the fiber. I have amina in the same color and although a rich brown you can see all of the highlights, this has more of a inky look, I can wear easily as my eyes are very dark and my coloring is okay with it. I definitely love this style, and will someday down the road when i can get a good deal try the chocolate shaded. This wig is a bit out of my budget so cannot buy full price at the moment.Jen G.

I love this wig. It is such a GOOD style/cut! Very on trend I would say. Tried on with several outfits today looks great with pretty much everything. Clavicle length, very flattering. Love the Cherry color. A couple downsides: is it does fall in your face a lot. I haven’t tried to gently heat the fibers so they don’t fall forward so much, and I haven’t put hair spray in yet. But that may help. Also the ends of the fibers at the front of the wig have that dry tangly feeling —must be the heat friendly fibers. What a beautiful wig! I may just buy another. Straight out of the box you don't get the full effect until you separate all of the lovely fibers. The wig is a very wavy look with small waves running down the fibers to a blunt, one length, below the chin look. I have been on the search for a wig I feel comfortable in for years. This one pretty much fits the bill. It shapes my face perfectly ( I have a rounded face with high cheekbones). If you want bangs (I do), you will have to cut the bangs in or take it to your hairdresser. That is all that I have had to do on this wig. PROS Light weight Realistic looking Low density Great color – does not look fake and in your face shiny (Mocca-Rooted) Cap size – not real big (guess I have a small head). If you have an average size or large head circumference, you may want to go for a larger wig. Ellen Wille caps do run smaller than most wigs. Modern looking CONS Not alot of hair in the bangs. I do not like a lot of hair on wigs but there is not much to work with in the bang area. I've made it work though. The lace gets a little uncomfortable at times. That is not specific to this wig this will happen on any lace front. Price Point considering that it is synthetic that you cannot apply heat to. So far this is my go to. I also love that you can part it on either side. My husband even thought it looked great and was actually the one who talked me in to keeping it because I was on the fence at first. The petite/average was perfect for me as I ordered a different wig that had way too much hair and was an average and was way to big even adjusting that I had to send back, I did have to pay shipping to send back but the company is upfront about that, I have not received my refund yet but they just got it back a couple days ago so as of now I would have no hesitation of ordering from this company and shipping was great! But it’s the perfect amount of hair usually there is always a ton too much in everything that I have to thin everything out but for me I started with an average amount of VERY fine hair. The petite/average was perfect for me as I ordered a different wig that had way too much hair and was an average and was way to big even adjusting that I had to send back, I did have to pay shipping to send back but the company is upfront about that, I have not received my refund yet but they just got it back a couple days ago so as of now I would have no hesitation of ordering from this company and shipping was great! If anything changes with my return I will be sure to update this as I left all the tags and everything on the wig as required and tried it on with a wig cap and knew right away I did not like it on me.Dev
Bernstein mix is what’s pictured. But I also have mocca mix and chocolate mix. But it’s the perfect amount of hair usually there is always a ton too much in everything that I have to thin everything out but for me I started with an average amount of VERY fine hair. I ordered this in the Salt Pepper Mix. I really like the color. I some what like the style. It is too long and looks like you really need a trim at the nap of your neck. The quality problem is the same problem I have seen with three Ellen Wille wigs I ordered. There are little short hairs sticking up all over the back of the crown area or in the case of Cara 100 Deluxe wig the short straight hairs were sticking out all over the top. Another complaint, is that the picture here on the website is very inaccurate. In the red haired picture, that wig has been cut in the back. Wigs should not be altered in pictures for advertising a wig. I like that Ellen Wille wigs do not have excessive permatease and the cap being an petite/average fits me better than average sizes. But these quality issues are costing me a lot of money when you have to return the wig. Unfortunately, I don't have a wig store near me where I could try on wigs.
I ordered this wig in two colors, hoping that it was a bit more wavy to curly style with natural density on top. I was kinda hoping for the love child between Ellen Wille Arrow and Girl Mono. I was going on stock pictures and youtube reviews, but in reality it has a very choppy, strongly layered cut, and no real waves or curls. I had to brush these wigs with a regular "forbidden" kind of hairbrush instead of a wide tooth comb, to make the hair come together, instead of each lock of hair being super pieced out, doing their own thing. It also has a bit of permatease on one side of the part, and that kind of increased in volume during the day that I've worn her. For my head and face shape (large), permatease isn't a good idea. So… for me personally it's not a winner. However, if you need that extra bit of volume on top, you will LOVE this! If you like choppy layers and playfulness, but not really want to go for full curls or beach waves, this is a yes! Quality of hair is amazing and the cap is super comfortable. Lace front on Ellen Wille is one of the best in the industry in my opinion.Lea S.
Wish I had bought this piece first. Wore it right out of box. Professionally cut, realistic density and very fine denier. Hairline is undetectable. With hand tying too, It’s the most natural piece I have. Mine is champagne mix, it is close in shade to RW shaded biscuit, Henry Margu 10/613GR, and maybe JR’s Palm Springs Blond? Ellen Wille’s shade is a nice blend for most any med to ash blonde or for someone whose blonde is beginning to gray. No gold really. Not shiny. Very nice length. I still have a lot of hair length and that is the only challenge with me wearing this one since it is designed to fit with very little to no hair. I am making it work tucking my hair flat under wig cap. My bio hair has thinned to point that I need more hair to look normal again. I’m a petite/med? This is a nice wig. I was looking for something short but with some longer layers. It’s a petite/medium, so it’s a little big in the crown for me but that was easily rectified by taking it in. It wasn’t ready to wear right out of the box, the nape was too long for my liking (too Carol Brady mullety), so I took an inch off and trimmed the bangs a little as well. I’m only giving it three stars for that reason and also for the fact that it seems to shed like crazy when using a wig comb or even just finger styling; so that’s a little disappointing.Phyllis B.

I have ordered several wigs, being new to the process and the product. The "Fame" wig by Ellen Wille is very nice. Lightweight, wearable all day, and the hair texture is very good for synthetic hair. The bangs needed a bit of adjustment, they don't look like the photo. The online video demo is more representative. But, perhaps with a bit of hair cream they could. This wig reminds me of a longer version of "Joy". Happy with both.

I've worn Girl Mono from Ellen Wille and wanted something with a looser wave but the same mono, lace-front cap. This had that but was too long for me and a bit too flat around the bang area. I've learned the hard way that cutting length off synthetic wigs often ruins the style so did not want to try that again. The wig is very nice and fits my tiny head, I wore it a few times but I really struggle to keep the hair nicely in place, after I comb it it looks great and flat, but half an hour later I have enormous head. Not sure what to do about that. The hairs by the wig cup are not smooth (feels like permatease, but I did not find any info if it actually is or is not permatease). Otherwise the color is nice, very natural, I ordered honey rooted, material feels smooth and it is very comfortable wig. It has been over 15 years since I had a human hair wig. I tried one previously and it was I’ll fitting and looked very unnatural. This wig, however, fits comfortably (it’s honestly still slightly larger than what I’d love and I just mention that in case anyone is nervous hearing that it is more on the petite side. I wish it were more petite!). I do, however, love the amount of hair in Cascade. It’s thickness looks very natural. The fibers tangle too easily. I can't do anything without this wig tangling and matting in a weird way. It's embarrassing to me and now I have to replace it after only 2 months of wear. I've tried conditioners in hopes of coating the fibers and reducing friction, but it doesn't last even a whole day. I have been impressed with the construction of the cap. Considering I have to brush the wig out many times throughout the day, I'm surprised that the crown hasn't thinned badly. Many wigs come already too thin in the crown, but not this one. The Chocolate Mix color is nice. Other wig brands use fibers (heat friendly and otherwise) that can be smoothed every day or two with a straightener on low heat. Frizziness is not the issue with this wig. It just can't handle friction.Carrie E.

The hair so silky and such a natural looking density. I'm having a hard time though with the colors. Also, the same color in different collections look somewhat different. I purchased this in dark chocolate mix and starting wearing it recently and don't see too much highlights, granted i haven't washed it yet, for some reason that makes a difference sometimes in the fiber. I have amina in the same color and although a rich brown you can see all of the highlights, this has more of a inky look, I can wear easily as my eyes are very dark and my coloring is okay with it. I tried a couple other wigs and they had too much hair for my small face and head. I saw this brand new style and it looked so cute and a lot shorter, and I so hoped it would fit my head and face. When I received it I took it out of the box and I immediately saw that the amount of hair was way less than other wigs I'd tried (Beach Mono and Violet). I tried it on and it wouldn't cover my side hairline. I thought I could work with the curls, which were wavy and soft, but the more I looked at myself, the more I realized that the wig cap just was not large enough. I even went to the internet and looked at ways to make a cap larger, and then kicked myself and said, "she just doesn't deserve all that cutting and most likely ruining!" I would suggest that you go by the true petite sizing if you want to try her. Also, ordered this in Bernstein Rooted which I must add is more blonde than brown. I wasn't prepared to go to such a drastic color change. Since the color swatch shows mostly light brown, the amount of blonde was a surpose. Sadly I had to return her. Your staff was so helpful. My biggest problem with ordering wigs is choosing colors that don’t look anything like the samples. Really?? I ordered Hot Mocca Rooted with light auburn blend and there is nothing auburn about it. I needed to return the Flair Mono wig because the lace front had a lot of dark knots and there was hair poking up at the top of the wig. Very disappointing because I liked the style of the wig but did not keep it because I did not believe I should have to accept that low quality for the price I was paying for the wig.

I love this look! I just ordered a second one in a different color. This one is very versatile. You can pin the bangs to the sides, have it in a ponytail, or play with the bangs so it can frame your face. It does have quite a bit of permatease though. The lack of the monofilament part makes it look a tiny bit fake if you look up close, but I liked the look so much that I bypassed it.
The wig is not for me, but for my daughter who suffered a malignant brain tumor years ago and now must wear a wig due to radiation treatments. She loves this wig and this is the 2nd one I bought for her. It lasts longer than some of the other wigs she's had and it's very natural looking. She gets compliments on her "hair" all the time with this wig from people who have no idea it's a not her own hair. Yes, I would buy it again (and I did!) if she stays with this style the next time she needs a new wig.
I would have to say the reviews for Carrie are pretty accurate! Overall pleased. Pros: The style is as presented, the fit and comfort is great, and the quality is what to be expected from this designer. Con: While the highlights are beautiful, the color (chocolate mix) is much lighter than one would expect for a dark brown.
