I ordered two of these wig styles. I wore the gray one to a mother's day brunch. As I was standing by my car, a lady called out Madia as she was passing by in her car. She thought I looked like the Tyler Perry character. I will never wear that wig again. The black one was designed with way too much hair. The hair does not fall correctly and it has too many layers. I tried it on, and it looked ridiculous. The wigs were supposed to be the exact same style, but they were not.Linda

I had viewed Esela many times keeping in mind negative reviews about this wig that I read on Especially Yours website. Because of your favorable return policy, I decided to order it. Many wig companies do everything they can to keep you from returning their products. Beautiful wig in GL14/22SS. This blonde shade is perfect for my natural brunette skin tone (light to medium neutral leaning toward warm). It's not too warm, nor is it too cool, and it doesn't wash me out. I discovered Gabor recently and love the hairline and softly shaded roots of the shaded shades. The hair is soft and fine. It tends to be a face flopper on me, but I plan to train it back. My photo shows it clipped on the right side.Lydia S.

This is a cute, lightweight pixie. She's my first experience with a lace front wig, which I find to be a little scratchy but very realistic-looking. The wig has significant permatease, but I can very easily smooth her down somewhat using just my fingers – I imagine I could get her even flatter with a good styling creme. Alternatively, if you want to spike her up, she'll go pretty high with a good shake and some teasing. I also appreciate that the bangs aren't super-long and I don't need to trim them. Although I've never tried Raquel Welch's "Winner," Serving Style seems similar to the basic (non-Elite) version of that wig, with the addition of a lace front for off-the-face styling versatility. I purchased this wig in the honey pecan. I’m a natural dark brunette plus size 23 inch head and this average fit me just fine. The cap is comfortable, natural, soft, and has a nice stretch. Rooting and highlighting is very natural spot on. To keep it out of my eyes, I just use a little clip which makes it look even cuter to put it back. This is a great wig if you want hair to stay out of your face in the summer when it’s hot or while you are busy doing things. I haven’t tried the sweet talk luxury but this one feels so nice I wouldn’t even be inclined to try unless it’s just for fun. Perfect color if you’re a brunette and you want to start going lighter and have it look natural. Will put a review on YouTube under “it’s a wonderful wig” since I love this so much. This wig is BY FAR my favorite wig from this collection! Not only does the scalp look SO real, but the hair texture is close to my own when it's blow dried out so it looks really natural. I did not have to do ANYTHING to it–no plucking, no make up on the lace, nada. I literally wore it right out of the box after cutting the lace. The wig is beautifulllll I was looking for a curly wig for my birthday and this was just that; perfect! It’s very voluminous and it’s giving pageant Queen lol. I’ve seen some ppl cut it to shoulder length but nahhh I love it just the way it is. I raked through it with a wide tooth comb and it’s just so bouncy. Love this unit. I ordered a #2 from this site; still waiting for that one to arrive. However, couldn’t wait and went to my local BSS and purchased the Flamboyage Auburn. Ba-by! Honey child! This is the gurl right here! Love the color. It’s very complimentary to my skin tone. Cons: you will need to pluck the hairline and I pulled out my edges because I couldn’t get the baby hairs to work. Some folk on YouTube say the cap is small but it fits my head just fine and I have a medium to large head. Just lovely and sexy at the same time. Nora is a delightful fluff and go style with waves and almost curls. I got it in color 38, which is light ash brown with grey. It is supposed to be light ash brown with 25 percent grey (it seems a bit more than that;) It would be nice if Paula Young had at least one style featured in this color. The ash brown is very close to my natural color (a bit lighter) but Nora has more grey than I do personally. Nora arrived smelling absolutely wretched; I almost gagged when I opened the box. I had to wash the wig immediately. I used Paula Young shampoo. I thought I detected the (fumigant?) odor even after the wash, but when Nora dried, she no longer smelled. When I first put her on after she'd dried she was not pretty and the curls were mashed against the cap. I shook her vigorously and then took a wide tooth comb and really brought the fibers up off the cap. I wasn't rough, but I was deliberate in going over the entire wig to revive the fibers. I was able to achieve a style very similar to the catalog photo. In my photos, Nora has a more shag-like appearance, but once on she can be fluffed to the rounded silhouette of the catalog photo. Nora fits my 22.25 inch head comfortably and could be adjusted to go even a bit larger, or smaller. I find the fibers dry to the touch and just a bit coarser than my own very fine hair (although Nora's fiber does not look coarse.) Nora is comfortable to wear and an adorable style that goes with dressy as well as casual outfits. If you are prepared to spend a few moments waking Nora up after you first get her home, I think you will be pleasantly surprised at her fluff and go versatility. When this DANCE wig and COLOR ME EXQUISITE wigs arrived, upon removing them from the box they were cute, and the colors were pretty and the best thing they had going for them, However, they didn't look much like the ones the models in the pictures wore. And there is too much perma tease or "fluff" to them. They had really no style to them at all. Especially in the front, just couldn't do much with them. And didn't want to try since being careful with them is a must when trying them on. Very disappointed with these wigs. In my humble opinion they were not great and not keepers. So I am returning them and probably won't buy anymore wigs again. Sorry PY but your wigs need to be lighter weight, lay nicer, (some of us like a bit flatter style) far less perma tease or fluff, easier to wear right out of the box…Thanks anyway…Juanita

I am completely disappointed with my purchase. I ordered two of this wig because I really like the look of the style in the picture. The wigs I received will not comb into the style shown. The top is spiked and will only stand straight up and the bangs stick straight out and will not lay nicely against the forehead. I tried to tame it down with wig spray and hair gel but it won't lay down. The top hair stands straight up and the bangs stick straight out. The wig will not comb into a nice smooth pixie like the picture shows. I would not recommend a person buy this wig unless you want spiked hair that stands straight up at the top of your head and bangs that stick straight out at your forehead. The style does not resemble the picture at all !Eve

I also purchased a pair of John Fashion sling back shoes which I absolutely loved. I returned The Ellie wig & requested a refund. Aft several days, I traced the US mail pkg & it had been received but I had not received my refund as requested. So I called a cpl times using my sister's fone becaz I had poor reception on my Gov fone & later not enuff minutes 2 call Especially Yours & ck on my refund. I was denied my refund of $39.99 for the wig I returned becaz I was using someone else's fone. Although I used my OWN email address & Credit card 2 pay for my order. I had 2 call my bank & have the charges reversed becaz they UNJUSTLY denied my refund. I don't owe them & have never ordered from them before & was treated unfairly. They had a dispute with someone else & tried to make me pay. Very unfair and unjust.Johnnie

This was the most awful low quality wig I every purchased. This use to be a great company back in the days and I was hoping it was still good. I cant believe you as a company purchased this wig, looked it over and still decided to sell it to your customers. It was poor quality and looked nothing like this pick except for the frizziness, look closer and it's there. I returned the same day I received it for a refund and I was told then it was a on sale and couldn't get a refund so not only poor quality, poor customer service. What I received wasn’t what was pictured in the catalog or online. So I googled it, the color was at the wig.shop. The only recent I didn’t return it was because it was a gift from my husband and it would have hurt him. He didn’t know about color selection. What he selected was what he thought was in the picture. Hi, I have been purchasing this Shannon wig for 8yrs now and have "Never" been dis-appointed! The Shannon wig is not only durable for daily wear and holds up very well wash after was it also, is my go to wig for a quick updo for special occasions!!! My color of choice is Wheat Rooted because I have fair skin and green eyes and boy does this rooted color make my eyes pop!!! For some reason unknown to doctors when I was just 24yrs old I lost all my hair over a span of 8 months and battling cervical cancer as well! As a young woman I was devastated and experiencing depression, chemo was brutal to say the least. I had a young family to raise and had to hold down a high pressure job where personal appearances mattered!!! So needless to say I was forced into buying those old fashioned bulky and ugly wigs. Then came the more natural looking wigs that were way over priced. All I can say is thank you Wig.com and Paula Young for making such durable cute and chic looking wigs at such affordable prices!!! I also, have purchased Avery wig and Nola wig and I'm currently deciding to purchase the new Sloane wig (if you haven't checked out any of these wigs, please do so)!!! The "Special Bonus" is all of these wigs are "Versa Fiber Wigs" as well as Heat Friendly. This is key to all of the wigs I have mentioned being extremely durable shampoo after shampoo & conditioner to holding up so well!!! You can stick your head near the oven when cooking, take a walk on a hot and or humid day, sunbathe etc..etc and all of these wigs will hold up to all of what I just mentioned! Of course don't forget to purchase the correct wig shampoo, wig spray conditioner and wig spray found on both Wig.com and Paula Young. These accessories are really very important for proper wig care!!! Also, if you can afford it please splurge on a good wig stand and wig travel case, which are also found on Wig com. Stay tuned because I will be posting photos of the above mentioned wigs really soon. I will show you the various ways they can be effortlessly styled in updos and curled or just straight out of the box after just a few shakes!!! I’ve worn Shannon for many years and I love it! I’ve tried other styles, I always go back to my favorite, Shannon. I get compliments all the time! I’ve had beautician friends that were shocked when I told them I had a wig on! They fry very quickly and are so easy to style. This is my first time ordering I live in Canada Ontario, the wig took 9 days to come ( a little over a week). It was long, loose curls and baby hair straight out the package. Fit perfectly fine on my head I fixed the straps to my liking. Unit was 13×6 parting space, lace was light. Volume of the wig wasn’t the best compared to other sensationnel wigs, felt like a synthetic wig. The colour was burgundy wine however on my dark complexion it looked more red not burgundy. If you’re not used to colour you won’t like that.Naomi W.

it’s so soft and silky, really long and as for now there’s been no tangling or shedding. doesn’t shine like at all (or not that much) and feels and looks like human hair. this is how it look straight out of the box🤯 the color #4 looks so natural it literally looks like it’s my real hair, growing out of my scalp. it’s literally giving. my only problem is that it is kinda tight?? i’ll braid my hair later and will put her on, i’ll say how it goes.Stephanie M.

My mom gave Solana to me, because she wasn’t really feeling the color on her. I think this color is called “Chocolate Flamboyage” and when I first tried her on I too wasn’t 100% in love with this color as well, and being new to wearing synthetic wigs I really didn’t know what to do with it either lol. Anywho so I trimmed the lace, plucked & parted it, and I even took a black sharpie & darkened the roots to my liking & “Walla” she’s stunning now!! I’ve worn real hair for years, so I’ve found that stying synthetic hair is a little different, but this Swiss lace turned out to be easy to work with & melt just fine. Colour P99J/530. This was my first lace front human hair wig and I'm very pleased with my purchase. She was so soft when she came out of the box, but needed a lot of TLC after the first wear. After conditioning the wig and styling it, it's back to that baby soft feel and it's lasting more than one wear. The wig is a bit small for my head, which is on the big side, but a couple modifications and it fits perfectly. The colour and bounce are AMAZING. I get lots of compliments on this wig!Courtney M.

I was skeptical to purchase this particular 360 wig because of the price. My sister has one she paid $250.00 for. My Ebonyline 360 looks much better and she's so angry she hadn't heard about Ebonyline before her purchase from another company. She did eventually purchase from Ebonyline. I am pleased with my purchase of the Angelina synthetic wig. The color is vanilla cream. The wig fits good and has good coverage on the top, sides and back. I would recommend this wig for purchase. I bought this same wig in off-black several years ago. Had studio pictures taken in it and I looked fabulous!! So, when I saw it in the new catalog in a new color, I had to have it! The style, color and fit is just perfect! I've been wearing that burgundy color in other wigs in different styles and this wig is awesome!! Not too much or too little hair. Just right. I love the length. It's very light. My state just got to spring temperatures of 70F and it's reasonably cool underneath with original fine, hair to mid back no cap, just clips. Easy to style. Recommend for new person to wigs. Personally I have found the style on 360 is best for oblong/square face. Curls are more for other shapes. Unfortunately it is too shinny for me. After some tender care shine is decreased and ready to wear.Tatiana

Following a cancer treatment and chemo I ended up losing a lot of my hair and for the first time in my life had to consider using a wig. I have generous insurance benefits and was provided with two real human hair wigs costing thousands of dollars. While beautiful, I use them for work video calls and social events. I decided to look on internet to find an inexpensive wig that I could use for gardening and around the house. That is how I found Paula Young. I chose Ashlee because the hair style was closest to my original hair style and had bangs already built into the hairstyle. Given the price I didn't expect much. Wow. Was I pleasantly surprised when it arrived. I love it. It moves just like natural hair and doesn't require additional styling like my expensive insurance provided wigs. The only improvement that could be made is that the wig has a noticeable knot on the very top of the cap where it all comes together. It is not visible, just there if you touch the top of your head. I have worn the wig for 2 days now, it is very comfortable in 90 degree weather and it looks great running errands. Am thinking of getting another in the same style but in a lighter color. I ordered the Ashlee wheat rooted and although it has a more gold tone vs. my natural Ash blonde, it still looks fabulous on. I’m very happy! I immediately ordered another in the sun kissed rooted color. Reviews on YouTube shows it’s more of an ash blonde so I’m excited to receive that one. The cut on this wig is what Ive been trying to achieve with multiple hairdressers and never got it. So, to pull my perfect hairstyle out of a pink box and not have to pay for a haircut again is fabulous! 🤣. The fibers are soft! It feels like real hair. I think the bangs are a perfect length. I e seen others cut them but it completely changes for style and doesn’t look as good so I’m leaving them as is! I’ve ordered 3 other wigs from Various online sites and paid a bundle but this wig far exceeds the quality of those and was way cheaper. I may stock up on several of these so I never run out!
